Grandfather Senator Jose Escudero Andrade sent this handwritten recipe to Aida's Mom after she immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. It was recently found and Aida is the first to make this Tamale and will be featured in Aida's 100 year old Mom new cookbook that Elodia Escudero Camalich is writing with Aida's and and sister Lilia's via cyber state during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The cookbook: Recipes and Memories of a Centenarian Mexican Immigrant Woman will be available early Spring 2021.
